Club Hosted Seminars Edge Tech Skaters will learn stroking formations, edges, turns, power and agility to all types of music. Freestyle #1: Preliminary Level Introduces jumps, spins, and footwork. Skaters will be broken into circuit sequences and will learn exercise circuits. Freestyle #2: Junior & Senior Bronze Level All skills will be taught in formations and through expanding exercises. Freestyle #3: Junior/Gold & Competitive The biomechanical principles of jumps and spins are broken down. Unique spins and footwork will be introduced in formation sequences. Theatre on Ice Introduces creative movement to skaters. Explaining interpretive and what the Judges are looking for. How to select the appropriate music. Building field movements and learning the importance of connecting steps & levels of movement. Also get the chance to have your interpretive digitally edited for your skater. The perfect “6.0” Help build your skaters perfect program by having our directors digitally edit music, choreograph solos and appropriately place spins & jumps. By using the full ice surface this seminar will teach the importance of body language and expression. Stars of Tomorrow The seminar focuses on all techniques to enhance skaters performance including, co-ordination, attitude and ability. Podium Performances Canskate level skaters & primary star-skaters will be introduced to competitions. The seminar brings excitement to skaters and allows them to put solo’s together involving technical and creative skills. At the end of the seminar we will host a mock competition in which medals for skaters in attendance will be supplied. Skaters have the option of having music digitally edited. Dance Techniques Focusing on all levels of dance. Skaters learn how to use landmarks, timing, core strength, steps, partner position and expression. If your club would like the option of having a male partner at the seminar please give us a call. Skills Workshop Is your club behind on your skater’s advancement skills? Host a workshop at your club and have our directors break down all of the steps in a fun, effective and easy way. Synchro Sensations Start a synchro team in your club. Learn the formations, rules, and importance of teamwork between skaters, parents and executives. Excite skaters by practicing off ice formations and incorporating group cheers. By the end of the seminar your club will be able to utilize the skills taught and take advantage of our music library to start your team program.

Hockey Seminars Edge Tech #1 Enhance your team’s hockey practice by teaching new and innovating idea for stroking formations speed, power and agility. Skaters will be constantly moving through the whole seminar and will take part in our new DynamicTraining. Call for more information. Edge Tech #2 The seminar focuses on the more advanced hockey skaters. More formations, puck/stick handling and DynamicTraining. Off Ice Seminars Edge Tech Hockey Skaters will learn how to use Bosu Balls for agility and stability. A wide range of exercise equipment is available to enhance your skater’s core strength and balance. Mind, Body & Soul Skaters will learn mental prep for competitions and test days. Skaters will receive self progress charts to identify their goals for the up coming skating season. Skaters will also learn desire, determination and dedication. Off ice circuits will enchant stability, core strength and flexibility. Core Strength & Flexibility Skaters will use a wide variety of Off Ice equipment such as Bosu Balls, Stability Balls, Lex loops, parachutes, maxi-flex, spinners and more. Circuits will be conducted and each skater will receive a take home sheet or exercises to do at home before and after skating.
